<title>Updated HOWTOs, FAQs and Guides</title>

<listitem><para>David Braun published v1.5 of his <ulink url="http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Disk-Encryption-HOWTO/">Disk Encryption HOWTO</ulink>, which has minor updates.</para></listitem>
<listitem><para>In v1.1.6 of Daniel Nofftz's <ulink url="http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Athlon-Powersaving-HOWTO/">Athlon Powersaving HOWTO</ulink> you'll find more info about commandline-hacks and the <command>athcool</command> tool.</para></listitem>
<listitem><para>Claudio Cattazzo and Manuele Rampazzo rewrote the <ulink url="http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Italian-HOWTO/">Italian HOWTO</ulink>. The previous version was rather outdated, so they did a nearly-from-scratch job. Also refer to the <ulink url="http://it.tldp.org/">Italian Linux Documentation Project</ulink> over at PLUTO.</para></listitem>
<listitem><para>The SSI-UML HOWTO was removed at the request of the author.</para></listitem>

<para>Our French colleagues didn't sit still. Over at <ulink url="http://www.traduc.org" /> you can read about their latest accomplishments, among others a translation of the Samba Authenticated Gateway HOWTO and the Complete System Performance Monitoring Guide.</para>
<para>The Korean LDP chapter put up a <ulink url="http://wiki.kldp.org/wiki.php/CodeFest">gallery with images and documentation</ulink> of their <ulink url="http://bbs.kldp.org/viewtopic.php?t=48221">CodeFests</ulink> on the <ulink url="http://kldp.org" /> site.</para>
