Use the linear mode option in lilo. This should correct that problem.

Subject: STrange LILO problem
Hi,
I have never come across the problem given below.
I have a system with Windows 98 in one parttition and Linux Redhat 6.2
in other partition.
I am now not able to enter into any OS while rebooting. The system is
just giving LI instead of LILO and hanging up...
Can u anybody suggest help in how to solve this problem?
THANKS in Advance
Bye
