OK: Well this sounds great then. When I get the money ( i am a junior in
high school, no real job yet. lol) I will register Slackwaredoc.org and
mirror linuxDoc.org. :) thank you very much everyone for the feedback.

I agree with the suggestions and that it would be best if all documentation
were centralized. Having just spent a good amount of time searching the
LDP site over the past few weeks, it would definitely be best if the
database
were larger.
However, I have a suggestion for Edward... what if you were to go ahead
and create slackwaredoc.org and use it as a vehicle to promote the idea
of writing docs for Slackware... and to try to recruit others to help
with creating more documentation... BUT in the end contributing all
documentation back to the central LDP site.
On your slackwaredoc.org site, you could list all of the Slackware-specific
docs that are in the LDP database... either manually or perhaps through
a query to the LDP site itself. As suggested, with the use of a <vendor>
tag, it might be quite easy to query the LDP.
Having said that I have no idea what type of back-end the LDP site has,
so I don't know how easy it would be for you to extract the info in a
format that might work on your site.
If you were to do this, it would accomplish your aim to help build the
pool of Slackware documentation while simulataneously increasing the
available info in the LDP.
