My suggestion is to play around with your new computer for a while using
|
|
Windows, you may not like it, I agree, but this lets you know in
|
|
advance if the problems you'll encounter are due to software or
|
|
hardware malfunctionings. Check if the display looks fine, try the sound
|
|
capabilities, test the PCMCIA cards and try to take note
|
|
of as many information as possible about IRQs, DMAs, I/O ports of the
|
|
devices you have, including sound cards, video cards and all of the
|
|
machine's ports. You'll find all that quite useful, sooner or
|
|
later.
