<listitem><para>Luis Lima posted a HOWTO on using <ulink

to install Debian</ulink>.</para></listitem>
<listitem><para>Ian Hakes finally got approval from IBM to submit his
<ulink
url="http://lists.tldp.org/index.cgi?5:mss:9310:200412:kjlbapjgmpcdjeedimfk">DB2
HOWTO</ulink>. It should pass pretty fast because it has already been
reviewed internally by IBM.</para></listitem>
<listitem><para>Avy Alkalay put together the old Font HOWTO and the FDU
HOWTO and did a great deal of rewriting in the new <ulink
url="http://avi.alkalay.net/linux/docs/font-howto/font-howto.tar.gz">FONT
HOWTO</ulink>. At the request of the author, the FDU HOWTO will be
removed to the Obsolete section.</para></listitem>

<title>New document proposals</title>

<listitem><para>Paul Chavent made a start with a <ulink
url="http://paul.chavent.free.fr/GBA-HOWTO.html">Gameboy Advance
Programming HOWTO</ulink> (French only for the moment, Machtelt Garrels
proposed to translate in English). He argues that while the GBA becomes
obsolete, it is a cheap way to study embedded Linux.</para></listitem>
<listitem><para>Samdeep Nayak proposes to write about <ulink
url="http://lists.tldp.org/index.cgi?1:msp:8186:200412:eckllmndnomfkjcfcipc">SCSI
internals</ulink> for the 2.6 kernels.</para></listitem>

<para>There were some troubles on our servers which made it impossible for
our mirror maintainers to synchronize. The Ibiblio support team assures
us that everything is running OK now. Remember that you have to use a
command similar to the following in order to start the synchronization
process:</para>

<para>In January, all maintainers will be contacted again to check that
