2006 01 The Linux Documentation Project 2006-03-21 The Linux Documentation Project Weekly News News in The LDP world Debian acknowledges GFDL Debian announced last week that the GNU Free Documentation License are considered free if they do not contain any invariant sections. This is good news for the LDP, as our documents can now be included into the Debian and Debian-based distributions. Note that this does not automatically mean that the entire LDP collection will be included. Authors who want their documents to be included in the Debian documentation should check their licenses. New Weekly News Editor We are happy to announce that Hans Bol has volunteered to take over the weekly news editing job from Y Giridhar Appaji Nag. Hans has been following the mailing-lists for quite some time and found editing our newsletter an ideal opportunity to help.
