<title>New documents @ The LDP</title>
<para>Two new documents were added to our collection this week:</para>

<listitem><para>Eric Meyerhoff published v1.0 of the <ulink url="http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Installfest-HOWTO/">Linux Installfest HOWTO</ulink>, which provides guidelines for running a successful installation party.</para></listitem>

<listitem><para>Alex Brennen polished and completed his <ulink url="http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Kerberos-Infrastructure-HOWTO/">Kerberos Infrastructure HOWTO</ulink> so that it can serve the general public. We have v2.0 of this document for you, describing design and configuration of a Kerberos infrastructure. The document starts out with an introduction to Kerberos and a theoretical overview of the mechanism, and then details server setup and client configuration.</para></listitem>

<title>Documents submitted for review</title>
<itemizedlist>
<listitem><para>There has been some discussion lately over what should be in the <ulink url="http://tldp.org/FAQ/LDP-FAQ/index.html">LDP FAQ</ulink>. Rahul Sundaram summarized all the remarks and submitted them in the form of an update to the FAQ.</para></listitem>

<title>Updated HOWTOs, FAQs and Guides</title>

<listitem><para>Emma Jane Hogbin submitted v1.5 of the <ulink
url="http://tldp.org/HOWTO/ACPI-HOWTO/index.html">ACPI HOWTO</ulink>
The new version has minor updates for the 2.6.6 kernel and corrections
regarding which kernels need patching.</para></listitem>

<para>Two new mirrors</para>
<para>Gerardo Di Giacomo (aka Astharot) volunteered to set up a <ulink url="http://tldp.zone-h.org">mirror in Tallinn</ulink>, Estonia. This is our second Estonian mirror.</para>
<para>Markus Markert is currently setting up a new mirror in D&#252;sseldorf, which will soon be available <ulink url="http://web12.austria182.server4free.de/projekte/ldp/">here</ulink>.</para>

<para>Emilio Conti translated the <ulink url="http://tldp.org/LDP/abs/html/index.html">Advanced Bash Scripting Guide</ulink>, which is called <ulink url="http://it.tldp.org/guide/abs/index.html">Guida avanzata di scripting Bash</ulink> in Italian.</para>
<para>The <ulink url="http://it.tldp.org/Guida-ILDP/howto.html">PLUTO translated HOWTOs section</ulink> contains quite some recent entries as well.</para>
